Let the farming begin!

A few days ago we started working on the garden. We finally have everything planted and mother nature has been kind enough to water it for us every day this week. We may be a little ambitious with this garden, but I have high hopes. Let's all do a little farmer frolic to the garden gods that everything grows.


Here is a list of the things we planted:

• corn


• cherry tomato


• tomato


• peas


• asparagus


• zucchini


• winter squash


• eggplant


• hot peppers


• bell peppers


• carrots


• mixed greens


• lettuce


• spinach


• misc flowers (gladiolus, marigold, bluebonnet)

And hopefully this weekend we will get the following in the ground:

• watermelon


• cantaloupe


• honeydew


• mini pumpkin


• white and orange pumpkin

So, as of today this is what our little garden looks like. Keep your fingers crossed!
